Michael has been a diligent student and teacher of nutrition since 2001. He has studied from and apprenticed with many nationally recognized teachers of nutrition and healing. Most influential to him have been: James Jordan CNC, JD, Jim Marlowe, CMTA, and Lawrence Wilson MD, FICB.
Michael has helped many people to recover from acute and chronic health issues. He knows from experience that when a person is eating right for their type of metabolism, optimal health can be achieved. Michael recognizes the necessity for the individual to take full responsibility for their own health, regardless of the severity or urgency of the situation. He understands that the body responds to a holistic system of wellness that supports the immune system and the body’s biological functions.
Michael is a Certified Nutritional Consultant (CNC) through The American Association of Nutritional Consultants and a Certified Metabolic Typing Advisor (CMTA) through The Metabolic Typing Institute in La Jolla, California. He also holds certification in Darkfield Microscopy and Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis.
His own journey into healing began after returning to Chicago from three months of travel in India. He experienced debilitating digestive, parasitic and eliminatory disorders. Rather than turning to standard western medicine, he sought out the help of natural health professionals in Chicago. Within a few months of persistent treatments he regained his health.
In addition to being a nutritional consultant, Michael has been a diligent and passionate yoga student and teacher of yoga.
